David and Sheila Thomlinson were among
the early enthusiasts of the Limousin breed, founding their Beeches
Limousin herd in 1978 at Park View, Scaleby, near Carlisle in an
area of the North West of England that has become a heartland for
the breed.
The Beeches herd of 47 breeding cows is run on commercial lines on 200 acres
at Park View, with the aim of breeding quality bulls and females for sale both
through the ring and privately.
Visitors to Park View are always welcome to see the Beeches herd in its natural
environment. A selection of bulls and incalf and maiden heifers are always
available for sale privately.
