Livestock Register
The British Limousin Cattle Society has established a
pedigree livestock register for all members who are currently within
the Bluetongue Surveillance Zone (BSZ), formerly Bluetongue Protection
Zone. In setting this register up, the aim is simply to try and help
members promote and market the availability of their stock at this
difficult time. In the first instance, the register will concentrate
on available bulls for sale.
Therefore, if you are within the BSZ and would like to
add your bulls for sale to this register please contact the Limousin
Office preferably by email to info@limousin.co.uk or
by FAX: 02476 696716. Alternatively you can write to the Society at
the usual office address.

Elderberry Limousins have seven bulls for sale, born between January
and May 06. Three were entered, but unable to attend Carlisle
bull sale, another was entered for NELBC club sale at Leyburn. Six
out of the seven are by our senior stock bull, Ironstone Ultimate and
the seventh is by Mereside Topman, and out of quality dams. All
these are very quiet, well grown (some over 900kg), and worthy of inspection.
