The spring sale of British Blues at Chelford on 6 March 2010 saw the first daughter offered for sale sired by Ballygrange Alex.
This March 2009 yearling heifer, Tamhorn Ember, was almost all black in colour and went on to top the female trade at 4,900gns. She sold to new breeders, Mike & Sarah Potter, Farringdon, Oxfordshire.
