Show was the January
2009 born bull, Tomschoice Elgar, owned and bred
by Messrs JM & SP Cooper.

VELCRO WINS CHAMPIONSHIP AT ROYAL HIGHLAND
Ronick Velcro, a rising six-year-old cow from the
noted Ronick pedigree herd of Mr R Dick, Mains
of Throsk, Stirling, won the Limousin Supreme Championship
at the 170th Royal Highland Show.
FIVE STAR LIMOUSINS AT ROYAL ULSTER
Clonlara Valance, exhibited by Crawford Bros, enjoyed
a spectacular 2010 Royal Ulster Show when securing
the Supreme Limousin title, Individual Interbreed,
Interbreed Team & Interbreed Pairs honours.

STEER TAKES SMITHFIELD CHAMPIONSHIP
A Limousin-cross steer, Hanky Panky, exhibited by Michael
and Melanie Alford, was awarded the Overall
Supreme Championship at the 2009
AgriLive Smithfield Christmas Fair.

SHOW
Northern Ireland’s premier primestock Show, Allam’s,
saw Limousin sired animals take the Supreme Championship,
Calf Championship as well as the coveted Housewife’s
Choice award.

The 2009 Welsh Winter Fair at the Royal Welsh Agricultural
Showground, Builth Wells saw the Limousin breed once again
dominate the entries at this the twentieth running of
the Fair.

again to secure the prestigious 2009 Royal Highland Winter
Fair title with an outstanding homebred Limousin steer.

The five-year-old cow Ballymoney Veronica shown by Aberdeenshire
breeder led a spectacular five star Limousin section at
the Royal Welsh Show at Builth Wells held on 20th-23rd
July 2009.
VIRGINIA ANDY WINS ROYAL HIGHLAND FOR IAN NIMMO
Ian Nimmo, Bogside Farm, Newmains, Wishaw, Lanarkshire was
the toast of the day on Thursday 25th June at the 2009 Royal
Highland Show when he won the Supreme Limousin Championship.
