SHOW 2008 PROVISIONAL TIMETABLE
The Royal Show Limousin judging will be held on Thursday
3rd July at 9am. The Society has not been informed of any
class cancellations and it is hoped a strong Limousin entry
will be forthcoming.

PRICE AT WELSH WINTER FAIR 2007
A fantastic two day event was rounded off in spectacular
fashion when the Supreme Champion, a Limousin-cross steer
named Jonsi, went under the hammer for a Show record £12,500.

CLEAN SWEEP AT SCOTTISH WINTER FAIR
Champion at the Scottish Winter Fair was a Limousin sired steer
from Hugh & Lyn Dunlop, Holehouse Farm, with Spooks,
which was sired by Goldies Oswald.

The Young Limousin Breeders of Northern Ireland hosted
their 6th Annual Calf Spectacular and Young Handlers Competition
at Moira Pedigree Sales Arena on Saturday 15th September

Wells 23rd - 26th July.
SUPER SAMY THE ROYAL RECORD BREAKING BULL
A chapter of pedigree livestock history was written at this year’s
Royal Show by the 5 year old Limousin bull Samy from owners Robert & Jean
Graham, Airthrey Kerse Dairy Farm, Bridge of Allan, Stirlingshire.

Sauvignon wins Individual Interbreed, Limousin wins Junior Interbreed
Group and the Commercial Champion is Limousin Sired at the Great
Yorkshire Show.

David and Mary Cormack’s Newstart Upsydaisy won the
Royal Show Limousin Supreme Championship, Individual Interbreed Championship
and was Part of Winning Burke Trophy Interbreed Pair and Winning
Interbreed Team of Five.

Youth had its day at the 2007 Royal Highland in the shape of the
maiden heifer Grahams Butterfly who took the Limousin breed’s
Overall Supreme Championship.
