YLBC Calf Show 2007 postponed until 2008
Due to current industry circumstances, it has been decided to reschedule
this event next year and combine it with the Red Ladies & Weaned
Calves Shows in November 2008. Our grateful thanks are extended to

Young Limousin Breeders Stockjudging at the Irish Ploughing
Match
Three Young Limousin Breeders teams went head-to-head to head amidst a great
spirit of cooperation at the very first Anglo-Irish Stockjudging Championship
held on Tuesday 25th September 2007 at the famous Irish National Ploughing Match,
Annaharvey, Tullamore, Co. Offaly, Ireland. [more]
NI Calf Spectacular 2007
The Young Limousin Breeders of Northern Ireland
hosted their 6th Annual Calf Spectacular and Young Handlers Competition
at Moira Pedigree Sales Arena on Saturday 15th September 2007. This
year there was a fantastic display of over 80 pedigree and commercial
Limousins, shown by breeders from across the province. [more]

Royal Show Stock Judging Results
Sunday 1st July 2007 saw the traditional Royal Show Young Limousin
Breeders’ Stockjudging Championship. Competitors battled it out
in great spirit amid boggy conditions when judging one bull and two
heifer classes under the watchful gaze of Master Judge Michael Fieldson,
Corringham, Lincs. [more]
Chatsworth Farms Stockjudging
The YLBC are holding a National Stock Judging Competition at Chatsworth
Farms on the 28th June 2007 by kind permission of the Duke & Duchess
of Devonshire. The YLBC would like to invite all current members
of the YLBC to participate in the event starting at 12.30pm. There
will be Junior and Senior sections, with cash prizes for class winners.
The competition will be run in the same way as the Royal Show, with
there being four classes judged, and reasons are to be given on one
of the three classes.
We are extremely grateful to Chatsworth Farms for allowing us to hold
the competition there, as the Young Limousin Breeders Club are striving
to push the club forward, and provide more events annually with the
objective of being able to provide the opportunities to develop, encourage
and motivate young Limousin livestock breeders.
